Ten days, ten virtues
Each day focuses on one virtue. You read a little about what it does in your brain, try one small practice, and then come back and notice what happened.
- Day 1Honesty
- Day 2Authenticity
- Day 3Sincerity
- Day 4Integrity
- Day 5Self-Awareness
- Day 6Discernment
- Day 7Respect
- Day 8Fairness
- Day 9Loyalty
- Day 10Grounding
What's inside
- What's happening in your brain. Why someone else's disappointment can feel like such a big deal, and why saying "no" can set off an internal alarm. You'll also meet two thought habits that keep the pattern going: Mind-Reading and Guilt-Beating, two of the ANTs (automatic negative thoughts) from Dr. Daniel Amen's work.
- Every day includes a short definition, Your Brain On It, how the virtue helps a Harmonizer, what the virtue isn't, and a practice for the day.
- Writing pages to set your intention before you practice, and to notice what happened after.
- A photo for each day to sit with.
Who it's for
- You care a lot about the people around you, and you'd like to care for yourself too.
- You agree to things and then wish you hadn't.
- You feel responsible for how everyone in the room is feeling.
- Your Hidden Fear Profile Quiz result was Harmonizer.
